How Can I Help?

Suggested Donations for CCV

CCV relies exclusively on donations of time, products, and services in order to provide excellent care for its residents.  In terms of products, CCV needs non-perishable foods, items for basic hygiene, and disposable diapers. A general list of the items they can use is noted below.  Anything you can offer in this regard is appreciated very much and will be used wisely by the CCV staff.

 PLEASE GIVE

Rice (PLEASE no sacks heavier than 25 kg!!!)

Disposable and/or diapers, all sizes

Basic ingredients for cooking (e.g. pasta, flour, sugar, sauces & condiments, etc)

Canned fruits and vegetables

UHT milk & dry milk powder

Powdered baby formula

Laundry products (powdered detergent, fabric softener, antiseptic solution like Dettol or Lysol, etc)

Liquid baby vitamins and child-strength basic medicines (aspirin, etc)

Soap, toothpaste, shampoo (esp. baby shampoo), toilet paper, etc.

Cleansing scrub, dish soap,  etc. 

PLEASE DON'T GIVE

Used clothing (their closets are full at the moment)

Sweets, candy, junk food *on occasion, it is nice to treat the staff with something wonderful to eat, as they work tirelessly to care for the Chosen Children. If you send sweets, they will be used for this purpose.  Most of our CCV residents are on restricted diets and cannot take in excessive sugar.
